Enhanced Apartment Complex in Lexington Park

Lex Woods Apartments is a substantial renovation of an existing residential development. The project is 6 two-story, wood frame buildings with 78 stacked units within. All of the one, two and three bedroom units were upgraded with new finishes, new fixtures and new larger layouts. The building elevations were enhanced with new larger energy efficient windows along with some additions to all sides of each building. The old structure is unrecognizable in the more cohesive facades that better blend with the neighborhood. A new centrally located community building was built to house a leasing office, computer room and community room for residents to use.
The updated project met the requirements of Energy Star Homes and other energy standards along with updated Energy codes. These updates gave the existing and new residents more comfortable places to call home.
