New Townhomes

The project consists of one 3-story and two 2-story wood-framed affordable townhouse buildings for family living and supporting site improvements. Located in Aberdeen, Maryland (Harford County), the project is situated near the intersections of Taft Street and Roosevelt Avenue.

The project exterior finish is composed of brick veneer and cementitious horizontal lap siding. The roofs were architectural grade fiberglass shingles with accent metal roofing at the returned gables. All trim is synthetic with the facade offering varied projections and bays. The project achieved Energy Star Homes and Enterprise Green Communities requirements with double glazed windows, high insulation values and energy star appliances.

The townhouses are spacious and well designed, providing residents with ample opportunities to enjoy their units in conjunction with the gracious common amenities. The unit mix is comprised of fourteen 3-bedroom units and eight 4-bedroom units, all with integral garages and including over 9% (2 units) accessible units per UFAS standards. All units incorporate individual washer/dryers within the units. The kitchen cabinets are durable wood construction with solid wood doors and plywood boxes. In addition to Energy Star appliances and light fixtures, all units feature water-conserving plumbing fixtures.

The site is situated within an existing community of townhouses, garden apartments and single family homes.
